Vitality at Foodera Technologies: moving, connecting and recharging together

A bootcamp at 7:00 am. Tug-of-war with colleagues. A relaxing chair massage. Fresh smoothies and a healthy lunch. Not exactly an average working week at Foodera Technologies.

During National Vitality Week 2026, colleagues across Foodera put vitality at work into practice. From Montfoort and Hoogerheide to Werkendam and our locations in the United States, each location created its own program focused on movement, relaxation, healthy choices and connection.

At Foodera, we believe technology starts with people. So, for one week, we put an extra spotlight on exactly that. Because giving people the opportunity to feel energized, connected and at their best is an important part of creating a healthy and enjoyable workplace.

Different locations, one shared focus

Vitality means something different to everyone. For some, it means getting active. For others, it is about slowing down, taking a moment to recharge or making healthier choices throughout the day. That variety could be seen across Foodera throughout the week.

At Kiremko in Montfoort, colleagues could choose from a wide range of activities. They stepped outside for a walk, recharged during a chair massage or yoga session and explored mental vitality with practical insights for busy working days.

At Tummers in Hoogerheide, the working day started a little earlier than usual for some colleagues. At 7:00 am, it was time for a bootcamp. There was also room for healthy choices, with fresh smoothies providing a colorful energy boost and a healthy soup lunch offering another moment to step away from work and recharge together. Fresh smoothies were also on the menu at Van der Giessen in Werkendam.

Across the Atlantic, colleagues at Idaho Steel and Reyco Systems joined in as well. Chair massages provided an opportunity to relax and recharge, while walking and other sporting activities encouraged colleagues to step away from their desks and get moving.

Different activities, different locations, but one shared focus:

‘’There is no single way to be vital. Sometimes it means getting your heart rate up. Sometimes it means slowing it down!’’

“There is no single way to be vital. Sometimes it means getting your heart rate up. Sometimes it means slowing it down!”
Vitality beyond one week

National Vitality Week may put an extra spotlight on health and wellbeing at work, but vitality goes beyond a single week.

Healthy, energised and engaged colleagues are at the heart of what we do. Whether they are engineering new solutions, building machines or supporting customers around the world, our people make the difference every day.

That is why vitality is not only about being active. It is also about connection, balance and creating an environment where people can do their best work.

And if that occasionally involves a 7:00 am bootcamp, a tug-of-war or a fresh smoothie? Even better.

We are already looking forward to the next edition!
